WHAT YOU’LL DO We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Chief Financial Officer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in ERP systems, cost accounting, variance analysis, inventory management, data analytics, project management, and leadership.
This role will oversee all financial functions and produce detailed and timely financial reports, metrics and KPI driven operational analysis and actionable insights to assist all Directors to more effectively manage all of the company operations (manufacturing, warehouse, sales, fulfillment, call-center and executive operations).
OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the company's financial goals are met or exceeded Provide financial leadership and guidance to the executive team and various departments Oversee financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Manage the company's ERP systems, including system selection, implementation, and ongoing maintenance Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and methodologies to ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation Oversee inventory management, including inventory control, forecasting, and reconciliation Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance Own all transactions related to accuracy of the general ledger, job costing, inventory, receivables, payables, and resulting financial reports Develop and maintain financial and management reports that accurately describe performance with comparisons to projections or other benchmarks Actively identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies in processes, services, and alternatives Maintain current knowledge of logistics costs, raw material and commodities pricing Review cost variances and work collaboratively to identify root cause for proactive change Contribute to staffing requirements planning Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, ensuring high performance and professional development Manage offsite inventories and costing of third-party processes and record internally Oversee annual standard cost update and intermittent changes in material, equipment and labor rates are allocated, recommend related price changes Evaluate capital expenditures and ROI Manage and track contracts, renewals and costs Manage State Sales and use Tax compliance Manage corporate insurance and risk management policies and procedures Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports as needed (along with daily KPI updates) Collaborate with Human Resources for benefit renewals and company 401K plan WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred 15+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a CFO or equivalent role Strong knowledge of ERP systems, cost accounting, variance analysis, inventory management, and data analytics Proven track record of financial leadership and strategic thinking Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a high-performing team Comfortable working in a fast paced, growing and complex organization Experience working with consumer packaged goods companies that sell via: ecommerce, direct to consumer and mass market retail is highly preferred Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred Industry experience in nutraceutical and supplement manufacturing preferred WHAT WE OFFER ProCaps Laboratories provides: A competitive salary Excellent Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account with employer contribution Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay 401K plan with generous employer match 100% Company Life and Short-Term Disability Coverage Health & Wellness Program Gym Membership Reimbursement Program Healthy Vitamin Discount program Employee Referral Program Live and work in one of the most exciting and diverse communities in Nevada.
