Macintosh / Apple Geeks (Las Vegas)

I am a semi-retired Systems Consultant - began my career in the mid-1980's with legacy PC's and Macs helping to integrate the personal computer into business settings with mainframe UNIX based operating systems.
Now I just dabble in this for fun, mostly rebuilding older Apple systems to give them longer useful life, particularly older 2009-2012 Mac Pro towers which can be rebuilt into more modern functional systems, particularly for Audio and Video production.
Recently I've become versed in legacy Open-Core Patcher and the wonders it can do to revitalize older Macs.
Looking for a local Apple / Mac group to lend my experience and passion to I wasn't able to locate an established and active group so decided I would start one for those who might be interested in once-a-month meetings to share tips and tricks, and also maybe have it be a good source for out-of-production software and hardware.
My wife would be thrilled to not only get me out of the house for a few hours once a month but also downsize my large inventory of older Apple components.
If you're someone who has a geek gene in them and interested in Apple systems then you're welcome to join in - everyone welcome regardless of age, gender, or anything else.
