We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team.
As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to financial reporting, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, coordinating with external auditors, and assisting with regulatory reporting.
You will also be responsible for implementing new accounting pronouncements and providing technical accounting support to the accounting team.
*Responsibilities*:
* Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows, and shareholder equity statement
* Coordinate, compile, and analyze financial statements and footnotes for inclusion in SEC filings, such as Form 10-Ks and 10-Qs
* Investigate any variances or unusual trends in financial statements and follow up until resolution
* Lead implementation efforts and ongoing monitoring of significant new accounting pronouncements
* Perform technical accounting research, develop recommendations, and prepare technical accounting memos for various business transactions
* Review and approve monthly and quarterly journal entries and account reconciliations of designated GL accounts
* Assist external and internal auditors with inquiries on the accounts and processes
* Provide assistance, support, and guidance to the Operations and Accounting/Finance department
* Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements for regulatory reporting purposes
* Assist with the documentation of internal control activities and policies, and enforce strict adherence to the controls in place related to financial reporting
* Perform equity-related accounting and administrative matters
* Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, company internal controls, policies, and procedures, and federal regulations
* Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
* Perform other duties as assigned
*Qualifications*:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
* Active CPA license
* 3+ years of experience in financial reporting
* Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS
* Experience with SEC reporting requirements
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
